In addition, Attorney Tobin is well versed in the complexities of Medicaid Law and routinely represents clients and/or their spouses who have entered or could be entering a very costly nursing home and assists those clients in qualifying for Medicaid in order to defray some or all of the nursing home cost and/or implementing an estate plan designed to protect the client's assets from potential nursing home costs.

Attorney Tobin will guide you through the complexities of Medicaid laws, explain the options provided by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Federal government available to pay for home health care, assisted living and/or nursing home costs, and assist you in qualifying for these benefits.

Attorney Tobin's extensive probate/ trust practice includes representing nominated personal representatives (executors) and beneficiaries in the probate administration of Wills and representing Trustees and beneficiaries in the administration of Trusts.

Attorney Tobin graduated with Honors (Cum Laude) from Suffolk University Law School in 2001. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (MANAELA), and the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) and is frequently requested to give speeches for various senior groups regarding elder law issues.

In addition, Attorney Tobin is also a board Certified Financial Planner. Mr. Tobin's unique combined background as both an Elder Law Attorney and as a Certified Financial Planner results in valuable insight for the client as opposed to other elder law attorneys unaware of important financial planning issues and principles.
