Alejandra has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Miami having double majored in International Studies and Spanish. She graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2003, where she was an Article and Comments Editor of the School's Law Review. She spent years practicing commercial litigation and handling appeals all throughout Florida. She subsequently shifted her focus to represent some of the most vulnerable members of her community- the elderly and the disabled. Alejandra is committed to empowering these individuals and their families as they plan for the unexpected so they can rest easy without worrying about the financial burdens the future may bring. As a caretaker herself of both her young son and her aging mother, Alejandra considers herself to be a member of the "sandwich generation."
Firm Description
Alejandra serves her clients in planning for long-term care needs without having to deplete much-needed family assets to the level required to qualify for government benefits, and in planning for potential incapacity during life, as well as for post-death transfer of assets to avoid the court process and potential family conflict. Please contact Alejandra if you want to learn how to qualify for Medicaid long-term care even if you believe you do not qualify because of your financial situation.
