“When your life becomes legally complicated, I want to be the attorney and  counselor at law that helps protect your family's personal and financial interests.” Gregg S. Treadway, Esq.

The world we live in today has gotten far too complicated for all of us; especially for the senior citizens in our lives.  I experienced this first hand as my father tried to simultaneously fight faltering health and an overly bureaucratic healthcare and insurance system.  When he passed away, we encountered problems with his Last Will & Testament and had difficulty getting some of his assets transferred into my mother’s name due to the way he had his property titled.  By default, I found myself immersed in Elder Law issues and realized that there was no better way to use my legal education than to help Tennessee families prepare and plan for the myriad number of issues that come with late stage life planning, securing high quality health care, and containing the staggering cost that comes with long term care.

My approach to practicing Elder Law is straightforward…. “I make this complex area of the law simple for my clients and their families to understand.”

I believe my first job is to understand the law and how it applies to your individual situation.  My next job is to help you understand the steps we can take together  to protect and conserve your resources while securing the best level of health care possible for you or your loved one.

My credentials include an extensive business background including an MBA from the University of Tennessee that complements my law degree.  I am actively pursuing the Certified Financial Planner’s designation in addition to focusing my continuing legal education requirements on the topics of estate planning, conservatorships, elder law issues, wills and trusts, and strategies for conserving financial assets.  I am a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Elder Law College.

It is my honor to work with senior citizens and their families, helping them:

  • Make the best financial and healthcare choices they can;

  • In order to have the best quality of life that they can;

  • For as long as they can.

I look forward to working with you.

With kind regards,

Gregg S. Treadway, Esq.
