George G. Slater is the senior attorney of Slater Law Office LLC. He has devoted most of his years in law practice to Elder Law, Probate, and Estate Planning.

George completed a Master’s Degree in Business at Northwestern University in Chicago and passed the C.P.A. exam, then moved to Indiana in 1976 with his wife, Nancy, to live on his grandparents’ farm in Hamilton County, where they raised their family and remain today. George earned his law degree in 1979 from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis. After he earned his degree, George continued to farm his grandfather’s land and raise Herford cattle until 1985. He is Board Certified by the National Elder Law Foundation, and is a Member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. George served five years as Chair of the Elder Law Committee of the Indiana State Bar Association’s Probate Trust & Real Property Section, and is a Past Chair of the Indiana State Bar’s General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Section. He conducts numerous seminars for professional groups, and often speaks to the public as well on various topics related to Elder Law. George has grown to enjoy gardening, tree farming, and planting areas of native prairie grasses and flowers in his spare time.
