Eileen Walsh has practiced law in Louisville, Kentucky for 30 years. During that time she has practiced in many different areas of law, including civil litigation, workers compensation, estate planning and probate, elder law, and appellate work. She has worked in the Appellate Division of the Attorney General's Office, as a partner at a local law firm, and on her own. In 2004, she teamed up with Whitney Wilson to form Elder Law of Louisville (formerly Walsh & Wilson, PLLC).

 Eileen is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky through the Kentucky Bar Association.  She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, ElderCounsel, Elder Law Answers, the Elder Law Committee of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Louisville Bar Association, and Greater Louisville Aging in Place Alliance.  She is also V.A. accredited.

Firm Description 

Practicing elder law has given us the opportunity to focus on the needs of a sector of society we want to serve, and practice law in a wide variety of settings. We offer comprehensive and holistic legal advice for all of your Kentucky and Indiana elder law concerns. This area of law includes Medicaid Planning , V.A. Benefits, Special Needs Planning, and Estate Planning. Our office in the heart of St. Matthews in Louisville, KY offers free parking and is handicap accessible. We can visit you in your home, or a hospital or nursing home facility if you cant come to our office.

We have years of experience in the area of elder law and estate planning, which has given us the opportunity to practice in wide variety of other areas, including litigation, business, contracts, and real estate. Our backgrounds and knowledge helps us help our clients.

Our families are here in Louisville, Kentucky, and some of them have had health care problems. We know how difficult it can be to make some of the decisions that people have to make when their health isnt as good as it used to be.

Elder Law of Louisville (formerly Walsh & Wilson, PLLC) was established in 2004 and has grown every year in order to keep up with the changes in this ever-expanding field of law. Even with all the changes, one thing always remains constant, we provide counseling and advice in a kind, caring and patient manner.
