Attorneys:
Deirdre Wheatley Liss Esq., LL.M (Taxation), CELA
Stacey Crowell Maiden Esq
We are a general practice firm serving clients in New Jersey and New York. We have been offering innovative solutions to business and personal legal issues for over 25 years - from business planning to tax and estates, from creditor representation in the areas of foreclosure, bankruptcy and collections to family law, from business litigation to personal injury and elder law. We provide comprehensive service by leveraging the skills of our attorneys and paralegals across subject areas. We are able to meet the diversity of each client and offer innovative strategies by capitalizing on our years of experience with similar situations.
Our clients are institutions, individuals and local, national and multi-national businesses. Each has unique needs. Every member of our staff, attorneys and support staff, is dedicated to meeting these needs in a timely and effective manner. Because each of our attorneys has specialized areas of practice, we are able to draw on a cross-section of expert knowledge to provide effective results on every client matter.
We are sensitive to the cost of legal representation. We are dedicated to maximizing technology - through e-mail, scanning, computerized research and telecommunications innovations - to streamline our practice and pass on efficiencies to our clients as cost savings. We create a written retainer agreement at the outset of each engagement detailing our fee structure. Our shareholders manage costs by assigning attorneys of different levels of experience to matters, and delegating to paraprofessionals where appropriate.
Our practice is divided into five departments, each managed by one or more of our shareholders: Business Law, Creditors' Rights, Litigation, Real Estate and Tax, Trusts and Estates and Elder Law. Within these departments are specialized practice areas.
