In our ELDER Law practice we assist clients with Long Term Care planning, qualifying for Medi-CAL benefits, avoiding Medi-Cal Recovery, Estate Planning, Probate, and Probate Avoidance using Living Trusts & Powers of Attorney. Our firm is frequently consulted regarding asset preservation techniques in connection with Long Term Care planning, i.e. alternatives to 'spend down' in order to accelerate eligibility for MEDI-CAL.

In many cases, these 'alternatives' enable elders and their families to retain significant assets while simultaneously qualifying for MEDI-CAL Nursing Home Care. Our principal is frequently asked to speak on Elder Law topics to senior groups, financial planners, & social workers throughout the Bay Area.

We see clients in Hayward and Pleasanton and serve clients in both Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. We also handle Probate matters and planning for incapacity. Co-Author, "THE CONSUMER'S GUIDE TO MEDI-CAL PLANNING", a consumer friendly overview of Medi-Cal, Medi-Care and planning strategies to avoid going broke when paying for long term nursing care.
