Scott A. Selis
Meet Attorney Scott Selis. He has lived in Florida since he was 9 years old and has been happily married to Kimberly since 1984. Scott & Kimberly have 3 children.
While most of his clients are in Volusia and Flagler Counties, Scott uses his expertise and experience in Elder Law, Elder Care Law, and Estate Planning to assist clients throughout Florida. That expertise was recognized by his peers when he won a Florida Elder Law Attorney of the Year award in 2016 from the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar. He is a member of both The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and The Florida Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Currently, Scott serves on the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorney’s Joint Public Task Force for the Elderly and Disabled and is Administrative Vice-Chair of the Florida Bar’s Elder Law Section. Previously, Scott was chair of The Florida Bar Elder Law Section’s Legislative Committee, and served on The Elder Law Section’s Medicaid Committee. In 2012, Scott received the Charlotte Brayer Public Service Award from the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar for his service to Elders.
Scott received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and his Juris Doctor from Stetson University’s College of Law.

His focus is on helping the elderly remain at home for as long as possible and plan to protect their life’s savings from long-term care costs.
