Ina Kay Zimmerman
Ina Kay Zimmerman is a graduate of the Kansas University School of Law. She has been in private practice in Johnson County, Kansas for 30 years. She serves maturing clients and their families, and those with disabilities, utilizing a case management approach to both legal and personal issues facing her clients and their families. She serves as a private fiduciary in selected situations. A passion for the care and nurture of those impaired by disability, and her personal experience in caregiving, have provided strong motivation for Ms. Zimmerman's elder law practice. She was the founder of Daughters & Company, a unique care management corporation established in 1995 to supply clients with personal non-medical support, social enrichment, transportation and property management. She continues as a consultant on such issues. Ms. Zimmerman is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), Kansas Advocates for Better Care, Kansas Women Attorneys Association, and the Johnson County and Kansas Bar Associations. She also serves as a volunteer on the Kansas Elder Law Hotline.
