Gloralie Lemmerman, 76, was recovering from a stroke and facedimminent discharge from a Lewisburg, Pennsylvania nursing home. Distressedbecause he did not know how he was going to take care of his wife and pay forher medical care, Carl Lemmerman, 80, visited her private room at the nursinghome on September 25, 2000. Using a low caliber handgun he took both theirlives.
