Attorney Paula A. Smith earned a B.S. in Human Services, summa cum laude, and her J.D. from State University of New York at Buffalo. She went on to Boston University School of Law to receive a Master of Laws in Taxation (LLM). Paula is an Attorney Accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to counsel and assist veterans and their spouses in claims for veterans benefits.
In order to remain at the heart of the issues that affect her clients, Ms. Smith is a board member of the Friends of Worcesters Senior Center and a volunteer at the legal clinic at the Shrewsbury Senior Center. She previously served on the board of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and co-chaired the Elder Law Committee of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
Prior to co-founding Smith Worthington, LLC in 2007, Attorney Smith was a solo practitioner in estate planning and elder law, and prior to that was a partner at the Worcester law firm of Lian, Zarrow, Eynon and Shea.
