Sam W. Boone Jr.
The focus of Sam Boone's estate planning practice is based on his own straightforward personal goals — fortifying families, protecting legacies, shielding against the problems brought about by incapacity, and ensuring that the dreams parents have for their children are not lost to taxes, poor planning or procrastination.Since 1980, Sam has focused on the preservation, growth, control and transfer of estates, including tax planning, planning for incapacity and care for his clients, along with succession strategies for small businesses. In addition to counseling his clients, he continually educates other professionals and the general public about proper estate planning throughout Florida. Mr. Boone graduated from the University of Florida College of Law in 1978 and began his practice with a mid-sized Tallahassee law firm. He opened his own law office in 1980 and is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts, as well as the Federal Courts of the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida and the U.S. Tax Court. He participates in extensive continuing education, while satisfying his broad commitments to the community, including participation as an instructor in the local continuing education program. As an active member of the Florida Bar’s Elder Law and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections (including membership on the RPPTL Executive Council and various substantive committees), the North Florida Estate Planning Council, the American Institute of Estate Planning Attorneys, and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, he continually stays on top of the quickly changing profession and estate planning laws.
