In 2004, my parents signed a quick claim deed putting their lake house into a life estate. The original remainder interests were my brother and two nephews. It was my nephews attorney that drew up the papers. My parents have repeatedly asked for the return of their property as they are elderly and would like to sell the property for income. One of the nephews returned his portion and I am now listed as a remainder interest. In the four years since this document was developed, the relationship between my parents and my brother and other nephew has deteriorated to the point of alienation.

I have a letter from my brother stating that they could cancel the life estate anytime they wanted to but my brother and nephew have refused to sign the deeds back to them. Is there a way to get this life estate cancelled to give the property back to my parents?
