I wish to "quick claim deed " my summer, home to my daughter to avoid it being used by the state of Wisconsin for Medicare nursing home expense.

What is the lookback time? Some say 3- yrs.,some say 5 yrs.!

Is the lookback period vavid if i have the quick claim ,just notarized,or must it also be registered. A local lawer told me that it does not have to be registered to begin the lookback period!
